Prior to founding Wind Ridge Capital, Mark Pierson served as a Principal at Lakeside Capital Group, a family office private equity firm, where he focused on sourcing and evaluating deal opportunities.
In addition, Mr. Pierson has held several leadership positions in corporate development. Mr. Pierson led the corporate development efforts at Spyder Active Sports, a maker of high-end ski apparel, and was a member of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s (CGEY) Deals & Acquisitions Group. Mr. Pierson began his career in General Electric’s Financial Management Program (FMP).
Mr. Pierson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The University of Vermont where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and his MBA from The University of Chicago.
